The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed the arrest of twelve suspected armed robbers linked to the brutal attack that claimed the lives of Arise News anchor, Somtochukwu Christella Maduagwu, and a security guard, Barnabas Danlami, at Unique Apartments in Abuja.
According to police sources, the suspects were apprehended following an intensive manhunt launched after the tragic incident, which occurred earlier this week. Investigations revealed that the gang had been involved in a series of armed robberies across the Federal Capital Territory.
The Force Public Relations Officer stated that the arrested individuals are currently in custody and undergoing interrogation, adding that more updates will be released as the investigation progresses.
