BREAKING: China Launches K-Visa Programme for Young Science and Technology Talents from Nigeria and Other Countries

China is set to officially roll out its new K-Visa Programme tomorrow, targeting young science and technology talents from Nigeria 🇳🇬 and other countries.

The initiative is designed to attract innovative minds and skilled professionals in critical fields such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, information technology, renewable energy, and space science. According to Chinese authorities, the K-Visa will provide beneficiaries with streamlined entry procedures, extended residency permits, and opportunities to work or conduct research in China’s top academic and industrial institutions.

Officials described the programme as part of China’s broader strategy to strengthen international cooperation, foster knowledge exchange, and build a global network of young innovators. It is also expected to enhance bilateral ties with participating nations, including Nigeria, by opening doors for collaborative research, training, and technology transfer.

Nigeria, with its growing pool of young tech-savvy professionals, is seen as a key partner in the scheme. Experts believe the K-Visa could create new opportunities for Nigerian youths to gain advanced skills, participate in groundbreaking research, and contribute to global technological development.

The programme will begin accepting applications starting tomorrow, with priority given to outstanding graduates, researchers, and young professionals under 40.
