Season 10 Heats Up: Fear, Fixations & Rooboy’s Reign”

The Big Brother Naija Season 10 (“10/10”) house is growing hotter by the day, and by Day 35 (August 30, 2025), the drama has reached a whole new level. From gripping performances in the “Face Your Fear” week to emotional rivalries and a shake-up in leadership, housemates are locked in a battle of wills, emotions, and strategy as they edge closer to the ₦150 million grand prize.

This week’s Fear Task saw housemates channel spine-chilling energy, with performances inspired by eerie themes such as haunted houses, tarot readings, and even a nod to Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Though the entertainment value was undeniable, Biggie was unimpressed with their execution, leading to yet another wager loss—a huge blow to the house, as supplies remain scarce.

Beyond the stage, emotions ran high inside the house. Mide voiced her frustrations at being constantly compared to Dede, insisting on her individuality and calling out Kola’s supposed fixation on Dede, hinting that his feelings might be more circumstantial than genuine. Meanwhile, other housemates found themselves caught between alliances and subtle rivalries, with tensions simmering just beneath the surface.

In a dramatic power shift, Rooboy emerged as the new Head of House, dethroning Jason Jae and taking control for Week 5. His reign is already being closely watched by fans and fellow housemates alike, as every decision he makes could tip the balance of the game. Rooboy’s victory also comes hot on the heels of his earlier game-changing move when he pulled the “Nullify Nominations” card from Biggie’s Tree of Trinkets, temporarily saving all 22 housemates from eviction.

But Biggie didn’t let things slide easily. Alongside the good news came stern warnings, as multiple housemates—including Bright Morgan, Doris, Isabella, Kola, Mensan, Sultana, Thelma Lawson, and even Rooboy himself—received microphone infringement cautions. Sultana, in particular, found herself in hotter water for disappearing briefly during the announcement, adding to her troubles in the house.

With recent evictions of Otega, Kayikunmi, Danboskid, and Ibifubara, and Sabrina’s unexpected exit on medical grounds, the competition is growing fiercer. As the numbers dwindle, the stakes rise, and alliances are tested, the house continues to serve fans the right mix of suspense, strategy, and pure entertainment.

As BBNaija Season 10 heats up, fans are left asking: Will Rooboy’s reign bring unity or division? Can Mide shake off the constant comparisons? And who will survive the next wave of evictions?

One thing is certain—the game is only just beginning to reach its boiling point.
